Greg has a shed he can really be proud of. Greg wrote: When I bought my house there was already a 10 x 12 concrete pad out back so I used that for the floor. It saved a little work and money. I built all the walls and trusses, using the concrete pad as a work space. I nailed on the plywood while the the walls were laying down. I just had to be careful to allow the plywood to overhang on the ends so it would cover the adjacent wall. For the trusses I used these cool metal plates I found at a local lumber yard. They're the same type used by professional truss builders, but I'm sure the plywood gussets would be just as strong, maybe stronger. When everything was ready I just stood up all the walls and nailed them together. It was a snap! The rest was just basic trim work. I did get lucky on a deal for two steel doors for $5 each, though I had to make the frame and hang them. All in all your plan provided a shed that is much stronger and and better built than I thought it would be. I fully expect it to last just as long as the house. Thanks!
